The passenger side axle tube if I remember correctly from my conversation with Bryan on Sunday.

How'd that happen? I mean, it just happened to me, but it was because I hit a little car.

What would be the cost of getting it re-tubed vs. having to buy a new one?

Man that sucks. Whoever I bought it from would be getting a phone call or personal visit in the days to come.

funny you say that. on the way to allsouth i was trying to recall the guys name and what i put it in my phone as. found it and sent him a text letting him know what was going on. recieved a phone call from him an hour ago and suprisingly enough i have been reassured that there are good people left in this world who have a concense (sp?)
needless to say it was a honest mistake, no intentions of ripping me off and a check is in the mail. not enough for a new 60, but definitely helps out.
theres few truely honest good people left in this world and i love when i have a chance to deal with people who share my same philosophy.
going to give currie and solid axle a call and see if they would be interested in retubing it for me if this other axle falls through.

Good to hear man. Some people still know that doing good is the right way.

Picking up a set out of an 05 tomorrow night in north carolina. Blown engine, never crashed donor truck.
I could get just the front for $750 or the set for $850. Might as well have a matching set of axles for the trail rig.

made the ride to NC and came back with a 60/10.5 combo.
got a complete 60 front and a complete sterling 10.5 rear. Already got the 60 pressure washed and the track bar BJ pressed out for the XXX mount. Thats as far as Ive gotten with it. Moving down to Milledgeville tomorrow morning and it'll continue at my new house.
My only stipulations for the house I got was a flat driveway and a enclosed 2 car garage. I spent the last 2 days packing up the garage into a budget truck.
Dont know what my grades will look like with this kind of environment.

Got moved in and worked on the truck yesterday. Had to break in the new shop.
Got the axle swapped, modified and ready for the assist.
mhh flat driveway
New axle ready to go
Work continues sunday or monday. Hoping to have the assist and hydroboost all in by the end of the week.
Measured the twist in the bad axle, 5* difference in caster

On to the homestretch.
Got the cooler and resi mount made and installed. Just having problems figuring out how to plumb the system.
I have a hydroboost reservoir (return, hydroboost return, feed), cooler, and the GM hydroboost pump with the extra return fitting. The problem is I have 11 ports which leaves one open. Do I need to remove the hydroboost pump to eliminate the hydroboost return and use the stock pump with only one return?
I am thinking this is the best setup
http://www.howeperformance.com/pdfs/hydroboost-sb-hv-standard-single-ended.pdf
On my current pump I will have an extra port on the pump. Can I just cap it off or do I need to swap the pumps?
I also have my cooler coming from the hydroboost return then to the resi instead of from the box to the resi. That alright?
I have zero experience with this setup
thanks for the help
