preferably minimal due to my father being uptight about my jeep. i found a pretty good deal for a set of 32's at All South, thinking about doing them.

How good is a good deal?
An example of the tires I was talking about.

A buddy of mine had them on a 4 runner was pretty decent. I think he had 12-15,000 miles on half tread. I may be a little off but they are nice for the $$$

PS I love my chineese swampers. {toast}

Dem chineese tars?
Some where in Asia
Any experience withum?
In the 31x10.50 flavor.... On a very wet day at Gulches they were biting way better than the Dunlop Mud Rovers of the guy I was wheeling with.
How long will they last?
Not sure, My welded rear end effects the wear too much even on expensive tires. I also sold them after 3 months to upgrade to 33's

lol at the edit :P

AllSouth quoted 730 for a set of 4. my friend works at a tires store by discover mils and can get me a set of 33's for under $600. not sure about the quality though.

who makes them? Maxxis Bighorns are a great tire as Richv suggested. Look at those too, they run pretty cheap on price.

Lay that carpet on the drive wayu and pressure wash it carefully, or at the carwash.
Then spray with foaming carpet cleaner, scrub with a stiff brush, and hang on the fence to dry.
Like new and will still retain most of the custom fit shaping.
I personally don't care for bed liner on anything except a truck bed but it should give yopu insulation and tyou can run the carpet over it if you want to.

the carpet was from the previous owner and he glued home depot junk onto the floors. bed liner has to be better than that stuff, as the carpet glue was starting to mildew.

You're not going to to want anything bigger than a 31 x 10.5 if you're not going to lift it at all.  But a budget boost would get you enough space to fit 32's.  And 10.5 is as wide as you can go on those stock rims.  Backspacing can be a bitch with the wrong tires.

I'll second those Maxxis Bighorns.  A buddy had some of them and they would dig holes anywhere.  They grab like a mofo!

Good luck with your new shoes whatever you pick!
