Ok... Its a 86 CJ7. My dad had one when I was a kid and I've always wanted one for myself. Most of the parts are there and the tub has some sort of rubberish coating on it. Only carnage I have found so far is a broken shackle/bolt. The dash and windshield was removed to fix a spot of rust that was starting due to a leaking seal. I do have doors, but no top. Probably gonna leave it that way too. I do need some headlight buckets if anyone has some laying around. Its got 33" rubber which are shot. (imagine that)

Ya know, I'm wondering why Jeep would put such a reasonably strong t case (d300) in something that has toothpicks for driveshafts. They may be stronger than they look, I guess...

I've grown tired of this.

ATLANTA -- An Atlanta police officer and a child are being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital after a tow truck being pursued by police chase struck a house.

Police say an officer tried to pull over the tow truck because it was towing a pickup truck that was improperly secured.

WSB-TV reports ( http://bit.ly/osXb5R) Atlanta police Capt. Van Hobbs says the driver refused to stop and a chase ensued. Hobbs says the truck became detached from the wrecker in southeast Atlanta and hit the patrol car, knocking it into a fence.

Hobbs says the tow truck driver jumped out of his moving truck, which hit two houses, injuring a 12-year-old girl.

Police say the tow truck driver has been arrested. The conditions of the officer and the child aren't known.
