Is this a combination of all Jeep/off road clubs or are there going to be a series of weekends for others as well?
This will be an annual event however the land used for the trail rides are private and only open for this event. Its gonna be a good time. Just as stated in this thread, we are making this a Jeep Beach style event in regards to the main event. The main event will host a vendor fair, concert, crawl on a cop car, and then 4-5 100 yard long or so obstacle courses. They will range from Novice to Extreme. Then there are hourly guided trail rides to a nearby area that will have 4 trails mapped out. They will be small group rides staggering times so that if there is an issue with a rig on the trails it does not halt the entire event. These trails will be from Novice to Extreme as well. So far we have mapped the first three. I am still looking for the Extreme trail but I know its out there...just been along time since access to the area has been granted.
This is being modeled using the better ideas of numerous events around so it should be pretty good. The website is currently being completely revamped and is scheduled for release on July 31. At that time the new venues will be available They should be something like below.
Friday: Roccos Pub= Concert, Jeep Trivia and vendor meet and greet (Friday all day will be a scavenger hunt like we did in Daytona)
Saturday: Vendor fair, obstacle courses (all day), Guided trail rides,
Saturday Night: Crawl on cop car, Show n Shine, bonfire, concert, and then an unofficial night ride somewhere.
Sunday: more guided trail rides, vendor show, and I believe there will be a street ride like last year for those that want to be on pavement
Its gonna be a great event. So spread the word. Its for a great cause. Please come on up...we would love to meet ya and have you there.
FYI: I am currently working with a couple locals and should have a carnage unit (truck with driveshafts, u-joints, etc) on scene to weld, and fix repairs as needed....still in the works but hopefully will set some minds at ease when wheeling.
