We made it to Helen, be careful the roads are getting icy. I didn't know about the CB's till now and I don't have one so I hope it's not gonna be a problem? We down at Paul's Steakhouse if anyone else is around

Made it to the cabin safe. Cranked the heat up getting settled in waiting for the Danny and Justin to get back with the beer.

Need help with tuning CB,  SWR (channel 40) is too low, channel 1 is perfect.  I'm hearing people around my area.  Usual instructions don't seem to help correct it, but I had to jack up a jumper cable into my SWR meter and that may be part of the problem.  I'll try to show early if someone can assist with a PL 259 jumper and the knowledge, otherwise its live and learn!  Looking forward to meeting you guys.

If 40 is higher than 1 your antenna is to long

If 1 is higher than 40 your to short.

You have to play with both channels adjusting the antenna to get the SWR's down. 1.5 and lower is perfect. Jeeps are good to get 2 or lower
