As others have said, I'll believe it when I see it. Land Rover has pulled the same thing for the last 15 years. Bringing diesels to the US.
Also I hope the engine has decent power. Having driven some diesels over in Europe, many of the cheaper cars have an "adequate" engine for flat land. Even a parking deck ramp begins to challenge them (then again the diesel they put in the mercedes cabs over there are completely opposite, who needs coffee when you have a Frankfurt Taxi driver trying to kill you!!). So if they put a decent engine in it, it should be good.
