As of now it will just be a day trip for me, bringing the wife and kid. Plus it is only a hour tops from my house.

There would be a lot of mud depending on weather. But the way the weather keeps changing since earlier this week, I think we will be fine. As long as it keeps changing in our favor. But my opinion is a nasty muddy day on the trails is better than a day doing anything else.

I can think of a lot of things more fun than wasting money to play in the mud but if you like mud its a diff thing...

Weather looks solid. Dry till Thursday, some rain, then sunny with a light wind Friday. There will still be mud but it shouldnt be any worse than a normal ride at MM.

Does anyone know what time they open on Friday?  Also, what are the camping facilities like?  Showers, bathrooms etc.

I just called the park and got the answers to my questions.  For you guys that haven't been there before like me, they said that we can show up whenever we want on Friday, that the gates are open.  They have showers and bathrooms there also.  He did say that they have made one change there for now and that is that there is no night rides allowed there and we have to all be in by sunset.  Sucks a little bit, but really no big deal.  I will be concentrating on getting my drink on by that point anyways.

He did say it was a little bit wet there right now, but not bad.  For the most part pretty dry there.  Keeping fingers crossed that weather holds up all week.  Been really looking forward to this trip.

The camping is primitive as are the showers.  Just bring shower shoes/flip flops.

Since I already had Friday scheduled off for this ride, I was considering going for both Fri & Sat. But if there are no night rides. I am thinking that Saturday only may be the way to go. It would save me as I wasn't going to camp this time and was hotel'ing it.

It is more like a two stall out house with running water. I would rather take a bath in a puddle. Just my opinion though

Well, not quite that bad.  Block building with two stalls.  Flush toilet, sink, shower and electricity in each.

Alright all looks to be a go for me.

Yes, no night rides. Thats actually been a rule for a while there because the Morris land backs up to other peoples houses/land.

Man, night rides are where it's at though. Too bad. Some of my best memories are from night rides... And some of my worst ;)
I've grown tired of this.
