So I been saving for a while. My luck ran out when the 4.0 slung a rod thru the block. It got replaced with a atk 4.7 stroker crate motor. Got all the bugs worked out finally. Well when I got to work today, I got my long over due promised bonus. So I took a trip up to summit.


33x10.50 km2's, soft 8's l, 1" bl, smittybilt rear bumper, the rest of my re arms, and some small things.

So who wants to help lol? Trying to get ready for a much needed trip to uwharrie next weekend

Got the bumper on today. What a pita! Its smittybilt, so the powdercoatiing/bedliner crap looks like crap. But I gotta admit, its pretty freakin heavy. I like the look of not having a hitch hang down.



Next is the 1" bl, and then the tires/wheels. Might trim the flares about 1" or so.

Yeah it is. Does your gas tank sit back against the rear cross member? My LJ has a decent gap between so it made it a little easier to do. My wifes small hands made starting the bolts simple.

Yeah I had to take the reinforcement brackets over to my dads to cut on a metal chop saw. They were about 1/4" to long

Mine weren't that far off, but I had to.shave them down some. But for.the price you can't beat it.

Well I just dropped the tires and wheels off to get mounted. Contemplating on going ahead and putting them on, or wait til Monday when my bl gets here
