I'm selling my 4.0 that I pulled for a 5.3. It has 108k miles, complete with computer, still has the air compressor that could be used to air up tires or run air tools. Has about an 1 of run time on the oil change. The filter was dinged up on pull out but did not damage anything. I will include a new filter.

You mean the computer for the motor? Are the hiring harness for the entire Jeep? Yes, for the motor and no, on the jeep. Computer goes with it and the computer is for an auto tranny as well.

Question : Is there a kit to swap a 258 for the 4.0? Got a friend who is thinking about this for his 83 cj. His is a manuel tranny

What transmission? Shouldnt be difficult. Basically same motor but this one is fuel injected. The computer for this one is for an auto but will have to fine a manual one. I think that's all that will need to be done.
