Easy Ride on 6/8

Hello all,

I am going to go up to Bell Mountain and Charles Creek tomorrow morning. This is going to be an easy ride, Planning on leaving Spout Springs exit on 985 North at 7:30 ish. If anyone would like to ride along you are welcome. Txt Ryan at 770-313-8558

yeah I am going to take a few guys that I know that have never been. So it is going to be a small group so I though I would see if anyone else was interested.

Huh, I might ride up there and meet you.  I've been to Bell, where is Charles Creek?  Where are you going first, I would meet you there if I can make it?

Dave we are going to do Charles Creek first, I want to show these guys a few things before taking them up bell.

From Helen make a RIGHT instead of a left to go to Bell on 76.
Then make a left on Upper Hightower Road (sign) just past Upper Hightower Church. little over 4 miles I think
Follow that back 3 miles to where it turn to dirt and that is Charles Creek. I will turn my CB on channel 7 and I will have my phone on all morning (just got new service so not sure how well it will work up there). 770-313-8558


I think we will stop and get gas and food and stuff at the Ingles in Hawassee around 9 ish. Give me a call early and I will let you know where we are.

Yeah, If bell got anywhere near the rain we got today it's going to be real fun.  {letseat} Have fun with that. LOL

My boys and I are heading to shoot the hooch. It's running at 1.35' in Cleveland. That means the rapids that are normally class I/II are not II and III with a IV thrown in for good measure. I can't wait.

I live over in Auburn about 15 min away from FB.

It has been a long time since I have been rafting or kayaking but it sounds like a blast have fun.

Ryan, looks like I won't make it.  It is 1:00am and insomnia seems to have taken over.  Once I finally drift off, 6:00am alarm would come way too soon.  Y'all have fun and take pictures.  If by some chance I'm awake I'll drive up but don't wait for me.  I'll hit you on your cell.

Oh man, didn't see this as I left Friday for Lake Chatuge.  We went up Bell Saturday about 11AM so must have missed you if you made it.  Beautiful day with some beautiful views.

We rode all around Helen and up Richard Russell parkway. Stopped at Dukes Creek and hiked the trail. Great weekend for the doors and top off.
