Don't think for a minute that didn't cross my mind. I even thought of converting the bolt pattern to 5x5 and using JK rims and 35's to match mine.  You end up with 1 spare for all or 2 spares if you mount one on the trailer too.

Of course everything I think of is out of my price range so I'm going to hold off on the mod side and work on the restoration side of stuff for now.

You may be able to use spacers to do the conversion from the current bolt pattern to the 5x5.  Less than $100.

AJ, keep it simple. No need in overdoing a trailer. The swap to use your JK pattern wheels is a good idea. More spares. Fix the dent and use it. I could go overboard on mine, but no need. Just haul your crap and leave it.
I've grown tired of this.

Oh trust me, this will be a very road worthy budget build.  All the other stuff is just thinking of possibilities. I will not be altering it to the point that it can't be restored to original.

I'm still deciding if I should fix the bullet holes.

What is the method/mechanism for getting that dent out of the front?  (BFH, hydraulic jack/press, new hole with a winch pulling a board on the other side, etc, etc)

I'd use just a little heat and two hammers one on each side of the creases. Just remember the metal has been stretched already so any heat will just increase what you have. A little heat and a lot of ice would pull it back part of the way for you, then go after it with the hammers. Just my .02
