AJ's new Bantam project
« on: November 03, 2013, 08:15:56 PM »
Well this weekend I scored a Bantam T3-C!
It's going to need a little work but when done will match my Jeep and be a great camping/utility trailer.  For the size, it is really light. I didn't even know it was behind me... literally!  It sits a but lower and is narrower then the JK so it was a bit hard to see behind me.  Still going to fit my bill perfect.

Here are some pics I took thus far.

This is the part that will require some work, the front has need dented in, but not too bad.

Nice!

What did you have to spend for that and how did you find it?

Thanks guys!

I found it on a back road here in Cumming chained to a tree.  I saw it in Friday and picked it up on Saturday around noon.

You have a thread on that? Also any good source for parts? I've been crawling the net but as always first hand experience is always better.

starting price will be 1750 for mine, not cheap, but I put a lot of work and love into it. I really really want to keep it but have no room.

AJ, this site has a ton of great info, but the guys there are more into restoring back to original.

try expedition portal for a lot of good info as well especially regarding the ton of mods to do to them http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/forums/42-Expedition-Trailers

found this site for some hard to find parts https://www.rfjp.com/pc-2012-24-mbt-trailer-replacement-floor.aspx

here is my original for sale thread, just need to update it with final pics
