2 2" 1-3/4" pieces of tube
« on: December 30, 2013, 07:22:19 PM »
I need to rebuild my bumpstop towers and do it the right way so I can stop using hockey pucks and softballs. I need (2) 2" pieces of 1-3/4" tube .120 wall or bigger. It'll probably be easier to ship them to me. I can paypal you a few bucks. Prefer DOM or HREW. Thanks!

I think I have some smaller tube (maybe bigger; whatever is on my stinger), if you decide you can live with 1.5" or 2" (or whatever it is I used on the stinger), let me know.

I think your stinger is 1.5". I'll see if I can get any scrap 1.75, if not I'll hit you up

Will, I've got 1.75" .120 wall and 2" .120 wall.  So you only need two pieces 2" each, or do you want a little extra to cut to exact length. Too bad your not closer or you could just pick it up. I can box it up and ship if you need it soon.

2" length should be good for what I'm using, a hair longer is fine though. I believe 1.75" should be good, 2" would work as well. I'll measure again and see which size would be best.

Looks like the last of my 1.75 x .120 wall was used on my cage, the 1.75 I have left is all .095 wall. I have lots of scraps of 2" x .120 wall left over so hopefully that size will work better than 1.75"

I measured again, it needs to be 1.75".

As far as wall thickness, it is going to be part of a bumpstop, so I figured .120 would be a minimum. Someone on NAXJA might have a scrap piece for me.
