If you want to caravan over with Wes and myself, be ready to pull out of the Publix parking lot at 8am.  Here is the address:  1635 Old 41 Hwy NW, Kennesaw, GA

There is a Racetrac next to that Publix for gassing up (cheap gas) and snacking up (expensive snacks, cheap drinks).

You will not have a problem finding my truck/Jeep combo in the parking lot of the Publix.

Everyone must have a working CB and the required safety gear for this ride

I am officially out. Just wrote a contract on a house and have to deal with home inspection. Hate I am missing the ride but I have been looking for the right home for the last 3 years.

Good luck with the inspection!

See if you can get a plumber to come out and run a camera down the sewer line if there are lots of hardwood trees near it.

It's a septic tank and the house was built in 2006. We should be good but will walk the area

OFF TOPIC:

When I had slow drains at my old house, they used the optics camera to inspect it...and of course there were tons of roots in the system, but nothing was done to them (turned out to be a blocked vent causing the slow drains).  My old house did not have a basement.

My current house has a basement and I have not had anything done to my septic tanks since I moved in, 8 years ago.  What exactly (or generically) happens to the septic system with hardwoods that causes the basement to get nasty?
