I am Home. We have a lot of snow up here

I left work yesterday at 2:00pm in Canton.....Highway 20 looked like a parking lot
so I try Hwy 5.......after moving 3 or 4 miles in an hour I turn around and get on
575 to cut through Ball Ground and take 372 to 369......after a couple of hours and
a hill that had a tractor trailers stuck on it and everyone who tried to get around it
wound up in the ditch.....turned around called my wife who was already home to get
a hotel room.....all book in Canton, got one in Jasper. Left there at 10am this morning
and every road was still solid white. Came across on Hwy 53 and it was solid white until
I got to Dawson County then you could tell they had scraped and treated their roads...
So finally home and it don't look bad here around 400 or the Price road area.

Have to admit my little Patriot 4x4 didn't spin a bit.....

I rescued a friend's sister from a high school where she is a vice principal and had to stay overnight.  Easy ride, but saw too many 4x4 trucks doing north of 45mph on the ice.

Just rescued one of Cindys co workers and got her and her 4 yr old home. Now we are getting her  brother and sister in law from the galleria.

I'm in Vegas this week and missing all the fun...

Saw this on the AJC:

"If you have four wheels, you want to use them. This sport utility vehicle took to the sidewalk to get around traffic near Perimeter Mall on Tuesday afternoon. Traffic on most major roads around the mall remained gridlocked well past dark."

Got home safe. I hate working downtown, I just hate cities in general....anyway big thanks to Bobby (cru9) for helping me wake my diesel from its cold overnight resting spot.

There was 3 to 4 inches of sown in Nimblewill. It was fun driving in the fresh snow
