It's one of the coolest breweries I have been to. If you ever get a chance ask for the beef jerkey for a snack it's fresh and one of the best! Btw when I went they had just finished bottling ZD so I decided to bring back 2 cases for my friends to enjoy. I have to say that stuff is amazing in a bottle, but so so delicious on tap. Also was able to secure a few cans of my other fav the other day Heady Topper. I know that Heady Topper is highly rated on beeradvocate, but from my experience I prefer a bottle of ZD to a can of HT.

Btw this what I picked up in SD, Ca on my honeymoon lol

I thought Sam Adams did a decent job with Rebel IPA...until I had a true west coast IPA (Lagunitas) side-by-side.   No comparison...Lagunitas has less malt profile and much more hop flavor.  Both have about the same bitterness.

Yep.

That Sam Adams rebel was a bust for me. Not impressed

I'm with you guys on the Sam Adams Rebel IPA.  I would drink it over most of their other brews, but if there was another IPA in the vicinity, I probably would chose it.

I have not consumed Jekyll beer at all.

Last night I had 5 Seasons' (Prado) Hopgasm.  It was a pretty good IPA.

My go-to beers are now the ones in cans, so it's Miller Lite, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and Sweetwater IPA.

I was told that Red Hare is moving from Delk Rd to a site near the Big Chicken, due to growth.

Why cans?  You don't like bottles? Or growlers? Or kegs?

Cans have two major advantages over bottles and most growlers:  light can't get through them (light severely impacts the flavor of beer; kegs benefit from this too); portability is easier in cans.

I will buy bottled beer, but I prefer it in the can (think of European Vacation).

Had some of Sweetwater's new Hop Hash Double IPA this weekend.  If you are a Hop Head, this one is for you...damn good.

I grabbed a 6 pack of Jai Alai on Saturday.  That's an awesome IPA from Florida.
