Stone Ruin Ten

Triple IPA.  Hell yes

111 bitterness
10% abv

One hoppy ass beer. Low carbonation. A touch of citrus I think.

Damn, damn good. I give t a 5 out of 5.

We were at a killer burger joint in Nashville, Burger Republic. Amazing burgers and 20 beers on tap

Also had this tasty new-to-me IPA...Victory DirtWolf. Also, very tasty but I made a rookie mistake and had the triple IPA w max hops and bitterness first so I probably cooked my taste buds a little.

New one at the store a few days ago, picked it up

Red Hare SPF 50/50
Their Gangway IPA w grapefruit

Typical Red Hare. Good idea, cool name, pretty packaging...average beer

One of my top 5 beers is Ballast Point's Sculpin IPA. They make a Grapefruit Sculpin as well and it is one hell of a good beer. I was hoping that the local Red Hare may have something to rival it. Nope. Weak hops taste, super low bitterness(which means not good for an IPA) and way too much grapefruit.   It's not a Shandy or anything like that but it's a very average beer. Disappointed. The other 5 will probably be in my beer fridge for awhile.

Good for you!  I'm sure you are beat with all of that work around the crib.

I will likely do the same, soon.  We scratched the plans for the mountain ride since Kell thought it might be busy today, so we hit a couple of Asian markets and came home.  I've been reassembling the jeep...which has been a PITA, so I'm in need of a drink!

Just looked this up on Beer Advocate. They give it a 90 which means "world class". I disagree but that's ok

Just goes to show that ones mans trash is another mans treasure.
