sorry for a newb question... but is it a lot to drive there from ATL, wheel for the day then drive back home all in 1 day?

i dont know if i planned my weekend open enough heh

There are probably some people that will make it a day trip. Just a good amount of drive time.

Another newb here taking my JKU out on it's maiden wheeling trip.  I just plan on doing the easy trails and starting to learn how to use my Jeep and explore what it's capable of.  Coming from ATL and making this a day trip, what is a reasonable time I should expect to start heading back to ATL?  I need to set some expectations with my Chief Domestic Officer since she can't make this trip.

Can some one but a firestick cb antenna for me or bring a spare one broke.  Thanks

Not clear on this post but if you need an antenna I have one you can use if you can get someone to pick it up. I won't be able to make this ride. Just let me know. Call me.

I have a spare I can bring that you can use and then give back to me at the end of the day.  I'll bring you your tent heater too.

Probably everyone but just a few make Beasley a day trip.

It takes me 2 hours to get there from Kennesaw, I do a day trip.  Seems like we are pretty much done wheeling well before 5pm.  There are only some many trails out there.  The only thing that could delay is a break or a bad recovery...always possible.

Where might I pick up a decent CB in person, if I was so ill-prepared to not get one online yet?

A truck stop will have some, the selection may not be great.  There is Love's Truck Stop on the Emerson Exit of I-75 just north of Acworth.

Some wal marts have them as well.

I live in Hiawassee ( 20 miles passed Beasley) and I drive to Smyrna everyday, work 8-12 hors and drive back!  Yeah, it's doable for sure. Just makes for a long day
Get dirty, or get off the trail!

There is a CB store at the Truck stop at 285 & Donald Lee Hollowell just inside the perimeter ask for Leo. He knows his stuff.

I will be driving up from Downtown ATL and plan to leave at 6am. I believe we are on Channel 7. I will be headed up 75-575 etc I would guesstimate we'll finish up round 4ish. So tell your S.O. that you'll be home about dark 30. Mine knows that means sometime 'round dark give or take 30 mins or an hour. Y'all got to train em or bring em.

I'm at the park. Need a cb antenna.    Took me forever to find a sign that said camp. But finally found it. Off of 93a.
