Newb question. Getting to know my jk

I thru a check engine code on Tray Mtn on yesterday's Jeep Fest ride. Should I go have it read at Auto Zone ? Or should I just disconnect the Negative on the battery and try to reset it?

Nothing appears to be wrong other than the "ECO on" isn't working.

Do you have a Superchips or some other kind of programmer? If so, it will read your code. If not, yes, go get it read and see what it is.
