What is your Reasonable Dream Build
« on: October 13, 2014, 08:27:38 PM »
What is your dream build? I don't mean a no money expense build but a reasonable build that could run most trails.
Rig, suspension, axles, drivetrain, and ect.

Mine:
My greeen tj running the following:
1 ton's with 5.38's, arb rear, and detriot front
37's for street and 37's cheater tires for trail
Ford coyote 5.0 with some auto trans
Maybe a 4 speed atlas
4 link rear and 3 link front with hydro assist with JJ joints
2.0 coilovers with reserve
Already has a tied cage
Fiberglass hood with built in fenders and drop off a lot of front end weight and gain up travel
Around 103" wheelbase.
Go DAWGS

Lets see, an orange 2014 JKUR with a prorock 44, 37s, 3.5 inch lift as a starting point.  Don't know enough to say much more.

2011 has the body color for me though...I'm one big fat axle away from where I want to be and that is a long way.

Dana 60's front and rear.
arb air lockers front and rear.
RCV axle shafts

My jeep, plus Prorock 60 rear, new LS swap, hydro assist, cage, 10a hood, switch out bumpers and sliders. I know there is more. If you asked me this 3 years ago I'd likely say what I have now is plenty...addicting hobby.

Pulled with 7.3 diesel excursion or something else, but not sure.

Keeping it simple for me, I'd go for Tony's Jeep.  BAM!  DONE!
