My girlfriend was watching with me and said " I guess we need to get you a winch"

GaTR reality show would be a million times better than off road warriors.

The first episode could be a real life thread on changing breaks/ brakes.

Watched it tonight.  I must say after reading comments here and other places I was expecting a lot worse.  Not sure I follow the concern with the trees as it seems they were all pretty much down anyway.

Agree that the one guys rant was silly.  He was butt hurt because someone not from Alaska schooled him a little.

It's TV so ...... I'll watch it again and see how it goes.

"Super Jeep" has a " transmission powered " winch.  How does that work?  If your vehicle isn't running, then I guess your screwed, huh?

Yep, it is a PTO (Power Take Off).  No engine power, no transmission working = no PTO.

I like how the guy in the black range rover yelled at others for stupid wheeling ways on the first episode and last night he winched with no tree saver.

Just finished catching up and watching episode 3.  The distance is taking its toll on the vehicles.  For whatever reason Wendy thinks Butch and Bill are going to win.

What do you guys think about some of the obstacles they did, such as the mud boulder area in episode 3?

Just made me dislike him that much more.

Driver blind folded with the co-pilot telling the driver which way to turn and in 2wd and that would have been interesting.
