I watched Gasland 1 and 2;  I'm glad my backyard does not have natural resources available for extraction.

Hopefully they don't completely frack up Moab.

We've all (at least in this group) likely made a statement before about how good it is that the US is becoming much more energy independent.  I've said it.  Its easy to say when the wells are "somewhere else" in the country. 

I'll hate it if this changes Moab in a way that's detrimental to our sport.  But there are certainly things more important, and if access to these resources helps drive the economy, increases our security and national independence... I'm on-board!

Maybe...some  of the Colorado folks who live near fracking are complaining about the round the clock noise.

As far as Moab goes the article says the fracking is being done north of town.  That area is pretty expansive, flat and baron.  Shouldn't be a problem.
