Jk rubicon lift kit
« on: April 06, 2015, 03:40:47 PM »
So I have a 2.5 inch puck space lift on my 2006 jeep Tj. I saw someone selling a brand new jk rubicon lift kit that said it would be a 3inch lift kit for a tj. I kinda want to do it so I can finally have an actual lift kit. But I wanted to make sure it would fit first off and secondly I wanted to make sure that it would actually be a 3inch lift kit because I've heard that some people have done this lift but it only was like a 1.5 inch lift. Thoughts and opinions thanks!

I installed jkur springs and shocks on my 98.  I started with a 2.5" tj lift, but I heard the factory jkur setup would ride better and provide the same lift.  So I acquired some and here are my results:

Front:  no lift, in fact the bump stops ended up touching.  Sag.

Rear:  I'm still using them.  I had to heat and bend one end of the spring in order to get it to go over the bump stop.

When I had the complete setup, it rode awesome, but zero up travel was a no go.

A jkur lift may actually lift the tj.  I'm interested in your results, if you do it.
