Lowest humans are thieves
« on: July 30, 2015, 11:40:08 PM »
So my wife asked me the other day if I took the change cup out of the Tahoe.  Nope, been in there 11 years.

So tonight I can't find by GPS.  She had it cause hers wasn't in the Tahoe.

Yep happened again in our driveway.  Makes me angry beyond healthy.

I hope Karma and Darwin give them all they can handle with no mercy.

I think a lot of folks put rings, ear rings, and expensive items in them too,

but I do think it was kids..

But a Honda was stolen next door behind me Saturday night.  WTF

Damn kids.

There's a teenager in my neighborhood that gets his little cousins to steal peoples change etc from their vehicles. He's been busted several times.  He doesn't seem to care about the consequences. The kids were sent back to Grandma by DFACS.

I had Danny install an alarm on my jk that is motion sensitive. The jeep can still be opened but the alarm will sound. I didn't want someone to cut the top. I just leave the doors unlocked but the alarm is set. It has a little blue light on the dash. Its gone off one time in the drive where I thought someone might have been messing with it. It beeps about 3-4 times if you even walk too close. I like that.

Danny probably knows but i think its a Cobra or something like that. I'll have to find the box. It doesn't draw much off the battery. But even in the office I know if someone is near it. There are some out there that operate off the iPhone, remotely. I cant remember the price, it was installed when I got my lift and other goodies.

In the 90s I had the Viper system with motion detection...it worked well.  I assume they are still in the business.  It used to say, "protected by viper, stand back"  lol

I used to have a sidewinder (owned by viper or split from viper). Remote start, windows rolled up when I locked the doors, and could roll them down.  Loved that set up.

I know Viper is still out there and makes some great security systems. I've looked into them a lot but they were a little pricey for me. I've never had any issues either really. Other than  high schoolers messing with me

People have been going around my neighborhood stealing stuff out of cars in driveways.  Got my wife's change, iPod and a camera we can't find.  Damn punks.  They dumped some neighbors designer purse and only took the change.
