I am fortunate that my current employer pays 100% for health and it's a great plan and in our board meeting last month it was decided they will continue this practice for 2016 so we will be thankful.

Ours went up 4%.  The Weather Channel has great insurance.  It's a 90/10 plan and costs about $325 a month for my wife and I with a $500 deductible.  The downside is that IBM just bought TWC with the deal closing in the 1st quarter of 2016.  At that time, we'll have to enroll in IBM's plan and the cost is higher and has a $4,000 deductible.

Just me.
I didn't post the details since the opening post stated the *increase* was substantial, and I don't want to post too much online.  I don't think my coverage cost went up substantially, but "substantial" is a subjective term.
I can discuss details in person, but that is about all I'll post online.
- Torg

Substantial was supposed be a ?, fixed it.

We have awesome insurance says the wife from her girlfriend talk, good thing lately, and ours went up $30 a month.
We have $20 co pay, $30 specialist, $100 ER, and we pick any Dr.

Do you work at the Weather Channel office by the Galleria?  I'm in the Galleria building complex for now until we move to Buckhead next month.

Monthly premium is going down on one plan, but the deductible and out of pocket expense are going up. So I guess you can save money by not going top the doctor lol.

Yes.  We'll be there until some time in 2016 they find a new location for us.  IBM bought everything except TV.  I heard we're going over towards 400/285 which is great for me (Roswell).

My employer picks up my plan (Humana) but the co pays are through the the roof! Co-pay $50 Specialist $100 ER $600  its a trade off the last company paid part of the monthly fee and the co pays were less expensive.

I'm happy with mine. United health. Went up 5% for the family.

90% covered by company

$15 copay
$10 generic
$25 brand

$500 family deductible

Also, I am maxing out my FSA this year so I can use most of it on LASIK surgery.
