So i have the G43 and so far enjoy it, but I know have my really nice GSSF coupon, which i can get a G19 at a super low price?   Question is..   ....

the G43 is a great carry, and it shoots great.   the G19 holds more rounds, a bit longer and wider, but still a good carry.   I am struggling on if I need 2.   I shot the G19 gen 4
the other day (rental) and enjoyed it.   its heavy compared to the G43, but that helps with recoil and such.  and from what i can tell the G19 is like an AR, u can change just about any/everything about it.  .  .

not sure if i should get the G19 and look at selling the G43 or ..  keep the 43 and wait.    i have a year to use the coupon.

its hard to find any hate out there for a G19. I went from a bobtailed Kimber Carry Pro to a gen 3 g19 and wont go back, lost a little weight, and doubled the capacity, and 1911s are picky as hell so I also picked up alot of reliability. The only thing you really have to answer for your case is do you feel like you need the extra capacity over the G43? It all goes back to how comfortable you feel carrying a midsize vs. a compact IMO

You can customize the 43 also. Look at ZEV Technologies

buy both,  put one on your hip and one in your nightstand.  if the nightstand is full, put one under the couch, if the couch is taken, put it on the refrigerator, if the refrigerator is taken, put one in your office desk drawer,  if that is taken, put it in your tool chest cabinet drawer, if that is taken, put it in your shed behind the spare shingles, if that is taken, affix it to the bottom of the dining room table where you sit, if that is taken, put it in the spare vehicle, if that is taken it sell it to your son in law for a $1.

Basically what Don is saying is buy a couple. You can't ever have enough GUNS

This...

Love my G19 but found it was not a comfortable carry for IWB.  Fine for outside.  Get one, great gun.

I have a G19 fully customized and just got a G43 that I'm putting a new trigger and night sites on as we speak. I really liked the G19 but it is a little big and heavy for me to conceal IWB for long periods of time. I haven't shot the G43 yet l, but carrying it with my IWB kydex holster it is much more comfortable then the G19

Pic of the 19 just for fun

With that setup, I can see why IWB would be uncomfortable. ;-)

Note to self.  When going out to lunch and conceal carrying, remember to leave it in the car before entering work when you get back.
