So does this group have regular meet-n-greets? I would love to hang out and talk jeep crap over some beers sometime w/ some local folks   //BEER//  My husband and I just moved to Marietta and i've noticed a few nice rigs in the area. I'm sure some have to be members. Would love to meet some fellow jeepers  //cheers2//

as mentioned, we set our monthly ride schedule and a few meet and greats a year out at a time

But... miscellaneous get together's can be offered up by any CORE member that wants to organize it.  Give it a shot if you are interested.  I would suggest World of Beer, Taco Mac or something like that.  Just don't schedule something that conflicts with already scheduled rides.

Oh totally. We were just walking out of a Taco Mac the other night thinking it would be an awesome place to gather some jeepers one weekend or even week night and hang out.
what part of town do you stay?

We just moved to Marietta. We frequent Kennesaw and Smyrna often though.

I'm in Kennesaw.  Lots of good places for meeting up, especially around the college.  Like someone stated earlier, World of Beer is good.  A new place up there, Tin Lizzy's, has good specialty tacos.

I usually meet a friend of mine at taco mac on Dallas highway for wings once a month, but that place is a bit out of the way for other GATR folks.

There is a big misconception with some people that you cannot wheel a daily driver. You can. You just have to drive smart & know your limitations as well as your vehicles limitations. But you will never be able to unless you take it offroad.

I went to GARTFEST 2015 & wheeled with folks I felt were too over built for my Jeep & my driving experience. I thought I knew what my Jeep would do. I was wrong. I now have more confidence, much needed spotting & most importantly - seat time. I am now ready to try a few obstacles at Morris Mountain, that previously, I would be nervous riding shotgun in a buggy.

My jeep is a daily driver....when she's not at the shop getting fixed. Which happens. Like my wife says they make replacement parts for a reason...shit breaks.

We had a get together Downtown at the Bantam pub..they have a nice fire pit and plenty of places to park....maybe we can talk @Kennisau into organizing another one. See ya on the trails!

Los Primos,  V notch,  & possibly Copper Head if dry. I think I got the names right, only been once but was riding shotgun.
