Morris Mountain poem
« on: February 26, 2016, 10:03:27 PM »
Morris Mountain is where we all went
Wind was blowing, hard to put up a tent
Met new people, shook their hands
Beer stayed cold in my
new Yeti can
Fire was burning, shine was passed
Stories were told and
most of us laughed
Someone's Jeep alarm
woke me kinda early
Oh man, my mouth tastes dirty
Over rocks my Chevy  actually went
I'm sure I have a couple new dents
I drove up a mountain
on only three wheels,
"We will bring you your tire"
Is what she said
Drove down that mountain
with squishy brakes
Made it back home
Saturday late
Morris Mountain,
you were a good date!
Get dirty, or get off the trail!
