Been thinking about coming over for this for a couple years just to get some CO trail time.  Trails do not seem to all be the hard ones we'd want to hit but love to see some of the scenery anyway.

That event coincided with my CO trip last year.  I saw several of their groups out and about.  You would be the best built rig there by far!  Seemed to be mostly mild builds, and stockers.  They clogged up lots of mild trails, and restaurants with huge groups.  I'm sure the campfire camaraderie is good, but otherwise I bet you would be bored.

Negative.  Going to join @URBAN ASSAULT next week out here, though.

I can't wait to get out there!  It will be great to wheel with you in your new and improved state.  I will be getting into Salida on Wednesday, may run a scenic trail, drink some local brew, and recover in the Hampton Inn.  I'm going to set up camp, and stock the cooler on Thursday, then run another scenic warmup trail (thinking Pomeroy Lakes, or Baldwin Lake).  Friday is Holy Cross, and Saturday is Chinaman Gulch/Carnage Canyon.  Going to be an awesome weekend!
My 4Runner and I are quickly becoming dirty ol' men. More attitude and less flexibility every year.
