« on: October 26, 2016, 10:41:50 AM »
SO on the drive to work this mornin' I get no sound on a am/fm radio stations. Sirius and CD still working. Checked the fuse and its not blown. Replaced it anyway, because I had one. Looking at upgrade options and possible speakers. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the offer I think as long as I have CD and Sirius I'll be Ok just will have to deal with no AM750 or Local NPR. I haven't even looked around at aftermarket units.

My friend ran a pioneer GPS Navigation unit in his jeep. I thought it was great. He also had all the speakers replaced with rocksford fosgate speakers and the sound was amazing. We also put in dynaliner and dynamat for somewhat sound deadening material on the floors. The new Alpine headunit looks awesome too. Im sure the price tag looks scary though.

You'll find yourself less angry at things if you don't listen to those two radio stations. Might be an ignorance is bliss kind of approach but those channel are incendiary on many topics.
You have to listen to all sides, for the truth is buried between.
I typically listen to either Sirius Classic Rock, Tom Petty Radio, Ozzie's Boneyard,  Maragaritaville or the Clash. But I do do like some Prairie Home Companion and I do enjoy Classical Music.

750 is incendiary?

kool, -  In the jeep I do not have either AM or FM only satellite and CD's

I drove the beater Highlander today (just turned 60k on the jeep) something is definitely messed up with the steering in that thing  (the highlander), it was smooth like butter, I could barely feel the road, gets me all screwed up when I flip back to driving the jeep.

90.1 had a story with views from the Republicans and Democrats a speaker from each party discussing Johnny Isackson's run and possible runoff with the Libertarian canidate. It was entertaining to listen to. As they segwayed into another story on the Dakota pipeline I lost interest and turned it off. Silence is golden.
