Thank you everyone.

The memorial and service were very nice and a fitting tribute to James. He was a graduate of Gordon Military Institute before enlisting in the Navy at the tail end of WWII. The ROTC unit sent an honor guard the the graveside service the present the flag and play Taps. No matter how many times I have heard those notes I will always tear up as another fallen brother has been taken home. After his time in the Navy he then worked for the railroad until he retired.

He was born on December 31 1927 and passed away on his 89th birthday. He will be missed by those of us left behind. God Bless you James and thank you for the memories.
