Heading up on Saturday to pick up a set of half doors for the Jeep. Got the guy down to $375 for them. I just need to remove some dents on the passenger side door and repaint them both. Uppers are brand new. Been looking for a long time for a set but they are like gold for some reason. I think a painless dent guy can fix the passenger door pretty easy.

Funny - I'm actually meeting a guy on Sunday to do an exchange of doors.  His half for my full.  And, they'll mismatch for a while as I don't know when I will be able to afford a respray (or want to spend money on one instead of spending it on something else).

I have a set of full soft doors but both side zippers have crapped out so I literally have the passenger side closed with paperclips  //LMAO// and the driver side just has the two zippers half way up on both sides. Pretty pathetic but when you are short on cash you gotta make it work. Ordering replacement uppers would have been over $300 so to me that is ridiculous for a set of uppers. These soft doors use velcro on bottom section to adhere to door plus the 3 stems so normal replacement uppers won't work. So I will too have a mismatched set up for a bit but it won't bother me. If it were any other vehicle it would but it seems you can get away with it on a Jeep ha ha.

I was using binder clips to keep my back closed before replacing my top.  So, I've been there with zippers not working.  And, not finding any upholstery guy who would replace them.  Had to get a new top.  And, man, was that expensive to get one that is rated high enough to be worth it.

Yeah, I took the doors to some shops and nobody wanted to touch them. I was like seriously?! It's a flippin zipper fix!

I have a set of half doors I thought I posted for sell a while back. They are not dented, just doesn't have the plastic on the inside. Come with black uppers. They came off the 1 ton Jeep, so they are a copper penny color. Can make a deal. @krawler00

I'm not getting the green doors. I am buying tripps doors. Much better condition minus inner panels missing. But I might try to make an inner panel with some aluminum.

I think they are the teal color I already have...and the dents match my current ones!
