Yes that one has tons too.  RJ 60 front, 14b rear, is on here under for sale.  I would have to rework it all so not for me.

Thoughts?  I've got some questions sent to the seller.

I recall looking pretty closely at some CUCV axles.  I always came back to the 4.56 gears and Detroit in the rear.  I figured that i didn't want either of those, and that i'd be going back and swapping them Day 1.  Which means at least $2k of work to get F/R gears and rear locker installed.

That's half price.  Don you should jump on it or the girls college fund will be shrinking.  Locker in rear sucks fit the street but damn what a deal.

You're unlikely to break those no matter how much you try.

I NEVER notice my Detroit in the rear..  maybe once in 2k miles in the rain on a off camber dead stopped turn in situation that it might have chirped. and thatl happen in nearly anything.

Only downside I see might be weight gain, as JKs are a bit lacking in HP already.  V8 swap would solve that.

I'd rather get a SD 60/10.5 & put whatever gears & locker I wanted in them. Should be tons cheaper, pun intended.

Would not be cheaper with same specifications as those axles.  They could handle an LS3 with ease.  I do hate heavy axles but ::) has what it is and light weight stuff won't hang.

Strong but real heavy. Lighter stuff will be just as strong but depends on your pocket book size.
