Question for the group. When Tony takes possession of this, does he gain entrance to the LJ club?  I mean, it is technically a TJ but you wouldn't know by looking.

$4500 for a XJ with a 4 sod atlas is a pretty good deal. Do the super duty axle swap yourself for about $4K and have a nice trail rig.

I have my eye on the Terra Low 4 to 1. I think I can have SD put in cheaper than $4000. I haven't really sat down & priced it but I'm in no hurry. I'm still getting used to & having fun with my curret axles. Plus, the '00 is notorious for having bad head issues. Easy fix is to swap in a older head. Just make sure that it is not already cracked & ruined the main bearings.

I hear ya Dave. With the price that people are paying for SD axles I am convinced I could put a set under my truck (if I still had Toyota axles) for $3000 to $4000, but that's with regear and lockers (I don't do welded axles).

I'm used to a welded rear, it doesn't bother me. I'd opt for a front selectable. Again,  no rush. If I start demolishing shafts I'll rethink my strategy.

I have personally watched two of them explode in the woods. Neither person was beating on thier rig at all. Both units got replaced under warranty but both where told that they would not be repalced again. I think there is an extremely low rpm limit on the teralow kit.     241OR......................

I wish, they are 23 spline input & mine is 21 spline. They are pricey too.
