I will probably do something close to it one day but I really never want to line item my costs.

I do it with every build that I do.  Jeep, Harley, etc.  I like to know what I have in it but it also helps with insurance claims.

I have a 3 ring binder w my build in it. It is line itemed but there is no total...that's just not necessary to see.

And x 2 on insurance. I have an added dollar amount w AJ and my book of aftermarket stuff will serve as back up if I ever need to make a claim.
