The 6.5 is pretty bad for power too. Not like a NA 6.2 but still slow, noisy, etc. A small block gas would out pull it.

My 6.2 was a great engine for daily driving. 17mpg around town, 23 on the highway. I drove from winder to pittsburg PA and still had gas in the tank. But towing anything was a real chore. Flat ground, ok. Hills, forget it!

No power.  Helped a buddy pull a loaded closed trailer from North Dakota back here and we barely pulled the hills. Rode bad too.

No, 2wd. But have ridden in stock 4xs from the era. Still a pretty good ride.
