I believe the "not for hire" decal and tagging it as an RV negates the need for a CDL

the "not for hire" does remove the need for CDL but you will still need a type "F" I think it is for non-comercial straight truck. It's a simple written test about road rules and air brakes. Don't quote me on the type designation but just know you still have to have a license for the truck and since you aren't pulling a trailer you get one for a straight truck.

Over 26,000 lbs you need a class E or F license for a RV.

it's the 10 lug 70 high pinion. gear sets are limited.

*70-High Pinion (unkown offset, 2000ish+ Kodiak/Top Kick K4500/K5500 fronts) 10 lug high pinion 70, with 1550 joints (a 60 uses 1480) 5.13 gears are the only ones available for these axles.
