Adventures abound
« on: May 09, 2019, 09:53:17 AM »
Moving to Chattanooga late summer.  My wife accepted an offer at a FinTech company there.  I run IT teams all over the US and Latin America so I can work remote, traveling back to Alpharetta every other week for 2 days a week.

We’re excited about getting out of Atlanta to a smaller city.  Hope to get in more wheeling since I’ll be close to several parks.  Also, I was going to sell my Harley due to not riding because of all of the traffic.  Now I’m keeping it since I’ll be right at the mountains.  Looking to build a new house in the Signal Mountain area.

I was planning on wheeling at Hale, but have a punch list a mile long to get our house spit shined for sale.  Lots of little stuff but it adds up to time.

Maybe next year I will be able to host camping and activities at the house for an AOP trip.  Drop rigs at AOP and after the day is through, head 45 min back to the house for fire pit, drinking and fun.  Drive back to AOP the next day for wheeling.  It’s an idea.

If anybody knows the Chattanooga area well, hit me up.  Looking for all the information we can find.

well, my faith has been restored.  It took several years, but Allah finally came through.  Of course, he only got it partially right, but I'll take it.

Just kidding...congratulations to your wife.

You'll like Chattanooga. If you have kids, the Signal mountain schools are some of the best.
When you get up there, check out Big Fork. It can be reached via Signal mountain highway.
Easy access over to Prentice cooper St park (easy wheelin)

Welcome! if you need some recommendations, let me know.
I've got a good friend that builds custom houses, so if you need some quotes, I can help you there also.

That was easy.

We hosted our neighborhood's annual spring block party in our yard and prepped everything for a mini open house.  One of our neighbors put a contract on it last night (had 4 couples interested).  Never needed to list it for sale; no real estate agents; got full asking price.  The buyer's sister and brother in law are real estate agents and helped draft the paperwork.  We're using a friend of ours that is a closing attorney.  Closing date is September 1 but we're flexible until December.  Going up to TN in 2 weeks to meet with our Realtor and a buddy of his that is a custom builder.  We found a couple of the builder's houses that we liked before we knew they were his.  Too bad they already sold.
