To be moved to the pictures thread at some point.

John fixed a great breakfast casserole and honey biscuits.  The weather is incredible: Low humidity, lots of sun, and cool right now.

The camp and cabin area are empty right now...tonight things will change, I am sure.

We're not sure of the first trail, but I imagine it'll be 15.

We ran trail 15, 16, 8, and 51 (Panther Rock).

Minor issues today.  Clark’s rig wouldn’t start mid way through 15. We diagnosed it to the ground wire to the started. There was some corrosion, so we disconnected it and cleaned it and all was fine.

Also, on the way back to camp, Randy ran out of gas on the gravel road about 6 miles from the trailhead.  We siphoned some gas from Robs Jeep and got him a couple of gallons and made it back to the fuel station at the general store.

Pics from today.

No real carnage today, but some great wheeling and great scenery!

Carnage report for me:  engine issues

About 3/4 of the way yesterday my engine started running rough.  I'm not an engine guy, so I figured it was fuel related (my jeep has had problems with low fuel levels).  After filling up it didn't go away.

Seemed like ignition issue, so I had Biscuit and Jeff pick up spark plugs and wires on their way into town (it was an over the top request, and they fulfilled out without complaint...awesome guys).  I installed them early this morning, but no joy.

I took the distributor cap off, and there was corrosion and burnt rotor tip...so John ran me up to the auto parts store since he didn't have a trailer this trip.  Still, no joy.

Justin suspects there is a broken valve spring, but I was too lazy to pull the valve cover.  I'll defend my laziness by stating that if I pull the cover and a spring is broken...it ain't getting fixed here, and if it isn't broken them it's down to injectors, which isn't likely to be fixed here.

I'll debug more in the comfort of my basement.

There were no crazy events yesterday, so I don't why it showed up on this trip...but I did get a great nap in while everyone else was playing around at the park.

Checking injectors is easy. While running,  pull one injector wire at a time. If the engine runs the same with the wire removed, it's that injectors or cylinder that's dead.
I hope its nothing serious.
