New Horizons

I really haven't updated you guys but we're not moving to Chattanooga.  My wife is still with the company there but it interviewing at others. She can't take the toxic corporate culture.


I was planning to find a new job up there but since we aren' moving, I started looking here.  I've been at Scientific Games for the past 1.5 years which I've enjoyed, but it's difficult to make progress with no budget.  I'm happy to say it was my last day there today.


Monday - I start my new DREAM JOB at Davidson Hotels and Resorts heading up all of IT.  They manage large hotel brands for about 50 owners and growing.  The company is very healthy and I was blown away by the positive culture from the CEO and across the organization.  I thinking about recruiting @clark123456 , but they have a full bar including kegarator in the office and didn't think that would work out.   


I'm pretty excited and can't wait to hit the ground running on Monday.

Congratulations, Mike. 

Wow, the first time you left a job in recent history without being paid to leave...I'm disappointed.

I don't drink at work, ever.  I used to work at a startup where we could drink...it just didn't ever seem like a good idea.
