Daily stuff in Dekalb and Gwinnett...
Drugs?
Hostage situations?
Gangs?

The only time I have seen that level of police presence in Cobb/Kennesaw was the FedEx shooting near the Cobb airport.. I knew some crap had gone down that morning based on how many cruisers were running at high speed with lights and sirens...I figured a cop had been shot, but it was just a FedEx worker.

Not sure what it was..... the cops where flying and actually came close to some cars that didn't get over fast/far enough.

I text my boss and employees to let them know. Maybe they will hear what happened. I was just glad to be going in the opposite direction.

This was posted on FB by the Cherokee Sherrif's Office:

Excellent work this morning by the CSO Hostage Negotiation Team to bring a dangerous situation to a peaceful conclusion.

and

We would like to correct some rumors and inaccurate information. Cherokee Sheriff’s deputies are at a residence off Toonigh Rd. after responding to a barricaded suspect in an outbuilding behind his home. There have been no shots fired and there are no injuries. We are communicating with the individual and working towards a peaceful conclusion.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team just assisted the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office with a barricaded gunman situation. FCSO SWAT was already on call to help our neighbors by covering for the Cherokee SWAT team as they are currently in training. The situation came to a peaceful conclusion with no one being harmed. #FCSO #FCSOSWAT #goodneighbors #protectandserve

He was actually a crack dealer.
Everyone knows that the cops LOVE crack sprinkles on their donuts.
