I was planning to head there early Friday to beat traffic in ATL. If the hourly forecast looks like we can get a semi-full day in on Friday I’d be up for hitting it early and hauling ass when it starts raining if anyone else has all day Friday as well.

I like the "ride Friday until the rain hits" idea. But only if it hits around 5.

The storm that hits Saturday is suppose to be VERY bad. I have to go to a funeral Friday, or I would be wanting for a day ride.
I would be interested in going next weekend if others are thinking about it.

If I member correctly, it snowed at last years January ride at Morris Mountain. We were cookin eggs over the fire with flurries Saturday morning.

Gonna be quite the opposite with this storm. Temperatures are suppose to get in the high 60s. Bad for lightning and tornadoes.
