I don't want poor people from other parts of the Metro area to have a direct feed to my part of the Metro area.  I have a sufficient quantity of poor people in my area already, based on the folks at the MUST ministries near my house and the urban outdoorsmen I see at the interstate exits in Cobb County.

We have had CCT (poor people mass transit) in Cobb County for a while...and I've been against it since day 1.  Of course, I can't find any financial data regarding the CCT program to know how much we pay in taxes so poor people can move around Cobb County.

Me too. Especially if they make it a park and ride station. It would only be an hour ride to the airport.

Another thing from the article is the projected growth around Stone Mountain. Might be some good investment opportunities on land purchases.

I lived on Stone Drive for years when I was younger (about 5 minutes from the Mtn). I actually went on a little tour before I moved to reminisce. I couldn't believe how much some parts of Stone Mtn changed and some were still identical. The skating rink we went to as kids looked like it hasn't changed a bit. Then some places like the 96' Olympic Tennis Courts were completely grown over.
