I ventured into public for the first time in nearly a week to get some supplies from Lowe's for the bidet.

The checkout lady at Lowe's didn't appear to have any concerns about getting or giving Chinavirus;  She was touching everything, even when it wasn't necessary. She may have even licked the cash register and buttons on the credit card thing.

The Starbucks team (drive thru) was a little more concerned:  they were wearing lunch lady gloves.

I hope I don't regret my trip into the wilderness.

At Kroger in Austell yesterday many shoppers were wearing masks or scarves and latex gloves including some store stockers, and pharmacy employees. I did notice the water aisle was empty. I was on a targeted mission for Creamer so I didn't really check the other aisles. I did see they were fully stocked on veggies and bread though. I suspect tomorrow will be another mad rush as people realize they really do not have a couple weeks worth of canned food.

Zack how was Paris during alll of this? Were they on any sort of lockdowns?

I guess now the water is infected with the virus too.
I will say this again. People are stupid.

You can boil water but its easier to panic & buy up all the water. .    .... & toilet paper.  [no2]

I'm sorry for not knowing , Kevin but do you work in a place that extrudes aluminum ? That process fascinates me.

Since I'm working from home, I decided to make some computer upgrades.  I have dual monitors and a USB-C dock that runs my company computer.  Also had a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse but the keyboard sucked.  So used to soft touch keys I broke down and bought a new keyboard and mouse that uses Bluetooth instead of the USB receiver.

Logitech K780 Keyboard and M720 Mouse.  Both use Bluetooth and can be paired to 3 devices.  Now I only need a single keyboard to operate my company Windows 10 computer and my personal Macbook Pro.  The keyboard will also pair with any phone or tablet as well.  Pretty cool geeky shit.

Be careful...can be dangerous work depending on your method.  I know @jc79 nearly lost his eye, once.
