Awesome!

Just found out that my nextdoor neighbor just got out of the hospital yesterday. Apparently, he survived the virus, barely. Was in ICU for 6 days.

Now we wait!

No test needed, we all know that he's crazy. JK.
Seriously, how he tests negative.

Chuck, how old is the neighbor?

In his early 40's
Shit
Sorry, he's 37.

Even worse. Any underlying conditions that you know of/care to share.
37 & almost died has my concern at an elevated level.
None. He said he wasn't feeling to good (thought it was allergies). He walked to the post office, which is about a half mile from our house and said he was having a hard time breathing and then later that evening he developed a fever and just went down hill from there. I don't how long he was actually feeling under the weather but by the time he got to the hospital pneumonia had already set in. He said they did find 2 lumps of something in his lungs, they think they're related to the virus. Supposedly, they put him into induced coma for a couple of days.

I’m hoping that there is for these people that are getting hospitalized. I heard of a nurse somewhere that was 31 that died at home. But I know my nurse is hard headed when it comes to herself.

Unfortunately, people like her are needed.

Yeah...sad story.  Her baby was lying next to her when they discovered her.

Well just got this from our CEO...........

Due to the seriousness and continued evolution of the COVID-19
virus, UAC leadership has made the difficult decision to temporarily
shut down operations in Georgia, Kansas and California for a duration
of 16 days. We will do this in an orderly fashion with all locations
being closed no later than 6pm local on Friday, March 27, 2020; with
plans to resume operations on Monday, April 13, 2020.

Even though UAC facilities in Georgia and California fall within
the “Essential Business” definition and can continue to operate,
the decision to temporarily shut-down operations is out of our
sincere respect for your and your family’s well being. This
temporary shut-down will be unpaid; however, if you have
paid time off you can choose to use it during this time,
or partial unemployment benefits may apply.

that is lame & I'm sorry , man. Hang tough & hopefully thisll all proceeds to it's ultimate end as fast as it can.

good Lord.

these are the dumfounding , incidents which make no sense to me. There has not been , to my knowledge , anything similar to the " Russian roulette" like nature of who's being afflicted or not as is w/ this.
It seems so unnatural, comparatively.
This is scariest story I've yet heard , it & the child who's mom died that was a healthworker.
These stories & not grasping what the thing that determines if someone gets this sick or not is literally freaking me out.
I'm glad your neighbor pulled thru.
be safe.

Of the $2.5 trillion bill the retarded in Washington will push thru, $25 million is going to the Kennedy center & $75 million is going to the National Endowment of Arts, just to name 2.

This makes me physical sick.

The scum politicians also got a raise. How nice of them.  [flipoff4]

The raise portion is fake news, at least it is on factcheck.com. I also did a search on the word increase in the CARES document. The word came up 51 times but none were for legislators.
