Sources believe coronavirus originated in Wuhan lab as part of China's efforts to compete with US

not that it does much good for this particular virus but , yeah; I read this similarly flavored piece a few days ago ...

Trump brand Hydroxychloroquine will solve it...no problem.  He should release the emergency stockpile, force companies too make unlimited amounts of it, and get everyone else back to work immediately.  Show some leadership, Trump.

I hope Trump takes a LOT of his own medicine...it will be beautiful, unprecedented, and really something special. :)

The stupidity here is what will cause the shutdowns to continue longer than need be
https://www.autoblog.com/2020/04/15/thousands-in-cars-protest-michigan-governor-coronavirus-social-distancing/
The longer it goes on, the more we're going to see people throw caution to the wind. Everyone has a breaking point and I imagine we'll see more and more people reach theirs over the next month.

It's hard to stay at home when you've been out of work for 3 months and you're going to lose your home. Most of us in this group are fortunate to have steady jobs, but health care and service jobs make up the bulk of our economy now. Without people dining out, staying in hotels, or having surgeries we're on borrowed time before people lose houses. Sure we can delay payments, but good luck catching up on 3+ months of back payments for your apartment.

I know banks and mortgage companies are working with people that call and speak with them. I have several neighbors that have said as much.

This is not going to be over in just a couple of months. Predictions are 18 months to 2 years for a Vaccine. Parts of our economy may return to work if the Social Distancing is maintained and the spread does not increase. But I won't be surprised if those same parts are shut down again, if the Covid increases.

Apparently, CA has a travel ban until the end of May. We hired (made an offer and he accepted) a scheduler when all of this started but he hasn't been in a position to quit with his other company because they have him set up with in apartment out in CA. He's here in GA and due to this travel band can't get to CA to empty his apartment out or get his car.

these are the thoughts I'm having on the frequent but lowdown ,also. I can tell folks are antsy & wonder when people begin to crack & buckle. I expect more insurance related claims and housing losses , as you say.

We were told today that we are going to a 7 day work.
12 hours Sunday & Monday
10.5 Tuesday thru Friday
8 on Saturday

I despise OT but it will pay for one hell of a week of wheeling this fall.
The short list is Hawks Pride, AOP & Windrock.

I saw that China's numbers Doubled what they were originally reporting. Unless there is widespread testing, the true numbers will never be known.
The crest in Georgia is supposed to be between the 22nd and 25th of April. Hang tight!

My wife works in the medical field & was told that the peak for Georgia is mid May.
Not good.
