Spent some tax money tonight. The top one is mine and the bottom one is Sherry's.

Looking at ammo is there any negatives to buying remanufactured vs new? Doesn't seem to be any huge price advantage.

Any recommendations on a gun safe just for handguns?

Here's what I'm eyeballing:

I have one very similar to that. Works great for a few handguns.  Do not lose the key, because the battery will eventually die for the keypad and the only way you find out is that the key pad stops working.

But do yourself a favor.  Go ahead and get a full size safe for that AR you’ll be buying soon

If you're looking for home defense, check out tactical walls too. They're more of a "hidden in plain sight" deal, but some cool stuff.

They mostly use magnetic locks though. If you're worried about kids getting into it, they're not a good solution.

We have 5 grandkids running around at any given time lol, so, I'm looking for a place to lock em for now.
