Weird/Not so Weird Question
« on: September 24, 2022, 02:06:44 PM »
I’m a kinda new member although I was a member years ago. I’m upgrading my rig to 1-tons and 40s.
So I was wondering if anyone has a 40 inch tire on an 8x6.5 lug rim that I can borrow for a day to check fitment and turning radius on my rig. I’m trying to check clearances before I buy a set of tires.

Awesome. A 39.5 is close enough. My rig is at HammerLane Customs and I can schedule at time.  Depending on your availability I can scoop it up in the evening and drop it back off the next day.

Not my business but a deposit would ease my my mind IF I was to ever “loan” out a tire/wheel to a absolute stranger.

Just saying

Understandable. This was my intention when some one mentioned they had one. I would arrange it one on one vs publicly.

Mission accomplished! A huge thank you to Trailabite for lending me his spare for test fitting. I greatly appreciated his and his wife’s kindness, hospitality, and warm welcome. I’m looking forward to meeting more of you on the trail!
