Coilover Install
« on: December 14, 2022, 03:57:34 PM »
I should be receiving my coilovers and bump stops, hopefully, next week. Anyone in the Roswell area familiar installing these and has a bottle of nitrogen and can help set them up? I will provide beer and pizza.

All you really need is nitrogen and a gauge setup that goes past 200psi

and jacks, and a lift, and 8 hands to hold spacers, and lots of patience. And beers. lots of beers.

I like both of those but will not be in the area. Do the coilovers already have springs on them?

I will have to reinstall the springs.

I’m traveling for work next week but you’re welcome to borrow my nitrogen setup. I’m not far from the Home Depot on 92

Goatbilt has this tool that makes it much easier to install 2.0 shocks. https://goatbuilt.com/product/shock-spacer-install-tool/

Or buy 2.5 shocks and not worry about it since the spacers slide into the shock eyes

They are 2.5. Also, these are not new ones. I took them off and had them rebuilt by Wizzo. So I have all the hardware to put them back on.

When I have famous people money like you do, I’ll buy 2.5’s. But until then, that’s a cool tool.
