Mt. Aetna in early November?

Hey guys anyone want to go up to Mount Aetna around the first weekend of Nov?

I know I can get one other Jeep guy to go and several buddies on motorcycles. I want to try the easier trails since my XJ is a DD but Ive been there before when it was raining and it got slick as crap so I'm not sure which were the easy parts and what not.

Maybe meet at Cracker Barrel around 8AM and eat and wheel for most of the day after that?

Anyone interested? Let me know good dates for yall.

Not sure for me. I mean after the whole gate closed then open thing I am bit weary of what is still "legal" and what is not but I think Chris and Larry can clear that up.

I will have to see after our October ride where funds sit and some people have expressed the want to get back up to Tellico in December before the park is closed for 3 months.

 Basically the big-money developer thought he would just put up a gate and block off the road.  There was already a previous court order stating that the county road could not be blocked off. So he was not allowed to put up his gate. Everyplace on in the mountain that was legal to run before still he is.  You just have to be aware of the hunting leases,the wildlife management areas and the werock leases and not be on those unless you are a member.

Juan, you should have seen that place when we rode in the hurricane! Sloppy and crazy slippery! We went down that first hill and it was slick! Great picks! I am hoping to get back up there soon to wheel it in the dry! I bet you can walk everything!
